Revic Optics, a division of Gunwerks, has released their updated tripod system with fully interchangeable and configurable accessories that allow users to assemble a tripod specific to their needs. The Backpacker UL uses a leveling center column, ideal for glassing and shooting. Redesigned tripod heads have updated controls and feature the LeverClamp lock-in. New accessories include a bino mount and window mount.
Revic Releases Updated and Configurable Tripod System
Revic is excited to update and expand their line of tripods and tripod accessories. The new Revic Hunter and Backpacker UL models are compatible with the 3 newest Revic tripod heads, offering flexibility for different support needs.
The Backpacker UL, lightweight at 28.8 ounces, collapses to just over 15 inches without the tripod head. A notable feature is the leveling center column, designed for easy setup and stability on uneven terrain. The leveling column enhances the user’s ability to shoot off the Backpacker UL as well. A short 3.25” center column is included.
Tripod heads include the larger BH1L ball head and FH1L fluid head, both sporting the new LeverClamp mechanism to make lock- in faster and more secure. The FH2 is an ultralight fluid head designed specifically for the Backpacker UL, also featuring the LeverClamp.
The BM1 binocular mount is a tried-and-true post style, with carefully designed elements. The machined base integrates Arca-Swiss dimensions and the locking mechanism is separated from the release button for more security and ease of use. The WM1 window mount accepts any of the Revic tripod heads to help maintain familiarity with your favorite glassing setup when glassing from the vehicle.
