Model 1854 Collector’s Auction Ends Sunday
The opportunity to own a piece of Smith & Wesson history comes along rarely, and a once-in-a-generation auction featuring such a piece ends this weekend.
Smith & Wesson is commemorating the launch of their new Model 1854 lever-action rifle by creating 100 collector sets. These sets feature the Limited-Edition Model 1854 rifle and a matching Model 29 revolver. This pair of .44 Magnums has been hand engraved by Baron’s Engraving and is inlaid in 22K gold.
The company has made set no 001 of 100 available to buy via auction, hosted on GunBroker.com. The proceeds of this collectible auction will benefit the conservation work of the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation and Safari Club International.
But time is getting short, with the auction ending at 10 p.m. Eastern time, Sunday, March 10th.
The unique nature of this set, which comes in a custom display case and features a letter from S&W CEO Mark Smith, means this may be the best time to invest in this item. There is only one no. 001, and once it’s gone it may never be seen again.
If you want a true piece of S&W history, don’t delay visit the auction on GunBroker.com and place your bid.
