Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) refers to a wireless system comprising two components: tags and readers. The reader is a device with one or more antennas that emit radio waves and receive signals from the RFID tag.

Deploying RFID tag systems in the RAPiD Safes offers the quickest, most dependable access to firearms and valuables while providing unmatched security from unauthorized users. Place the included RFID watch band, key fob, or decal over the safe’s reader, and it will immediately open for rapid access. The advanced yet reliable and affordable RAPiD RFID entry systems also feature a convenient four-digit electronic keypad access to ensure entry, and circular barrel keys are also included.

• Two USB-A ports provide convenient charging for cell phones or other devices.

2700 KP

• RFID[2] is activated by a wristband, key fob, or sticker that instantly opens the spring-assist lid. Up to five RFID tags can be programmed.
• Convenient keypad access for a secondary entry method, the user can program a four to six-digit security code.
• Exceeds ASTM International safety standards for child and pry resistance, lock strength, drop/pick/saw tests, and hinge attack resistance.
• The exterior housing is made of thick 14 gauge steel with two internal hardened locking lugs.
• Included cable[3] allows the safe to be secured in virtually any location. Meets TSA requirements for handgun safety in checked luggage

4800 KP

• Secure a handgun and a backup, too.
• RAPiD® Safe 4800KP has space for two 1911-size pistols.

Shotgun Wall Lock

• Designed specifically for shotguns, this safe can be mounted horizontally or vertically in closets, behind doors, and anywhere quick access is needed using an RFID tag.
• Features the same convenient and tamperproof security as other Hornady® RFiD-enabled safes.

AR Gunlocker

• The AR Gunlocker stows neatly under a bed, in a closet, or the back of an SUV, providing total security with its fully enclosed design.
• Available in two sizes, secure up to three tactical-length rifles or shotguns and access them quickly and efficiently, thanks to RFID technology.

Compact Ready Vault with WiFi

• WIFI CONNECTIVITY KEEPS YOU INFORMED – Keep tabs on the Ready Vault™ safe through a smartphone. Download the Hornady Security® app and receive an alert when the safe is unlocked.
• FAST AND DEPENDABLE TOUCH-FREE ENTRY – Patented RFID[2] technology unlocks the safe faster than keypads and biometrics. Four included RFID tags, including a watchband tag, key fob, and two decals, can be selectively programmed to open this safe and any other RAPiD® Safe you own.
