Adjustable sights, an ability to attach frame weights, an adjustable trigger shoe, and a longer barrel are just a few of the many upgrades that deliver 10X performance in the two new Target models.
The barrel is a critical component of any gun and a standout feature on these new models. Shooters can choose from 5- or 6-inch barrels—ideally suited for target shooting. CZ maximized comfort in the Target, improving shot-to-shot consistency. Building on the legacy of the CZ 75, a pistol with cult-like status thanks to its comfortable natural grip, engineers fine-tuned the Shadow 2 Target for perfection. Sophisticated grip texturing matches the roughened areas on the front and rear of the grip. CZ also redesigned the shape of the controls for ease of use.
An enlarged undercut on the trigger guard allows for a higher grip, positioning the shooter’s hand closer to the bore axis and providing noticeable recoil dampening.
Longer and deeper cocking serrations provide a more secure grip for flawless handling.
A smooth, crisp, and balanced trigger mechanism is deeply ingrained in the DNA of all CZ pistols. The Shadow 2 Target’s trigger inherits these qualities and is further tuned for target competition. Its adjustable trigger and trigger shoe offer a custom feel and fit.
The accessory rail has been replaced by an interface for attaching a frame weight to help reduce muzzle rise. This is important in disciplines where both speed and accuracy are crucial.
Target shooters need adjustable sights for precision. The Shadow 2 Target includes an adjustable (horizontal and vertical) LPA rear sight. The target front sight comes in two different widths, so that shooters can fine-tune the sights to their liking.
