Henry Repeating Arms Debuts the Explorer Carbine Series

Henry Repeating Arms, one of America’s leading firearm manufacturers and the world leader in the lever-action category, has started shipping its new Explorer Carbines, first shown at the 2026 SHOT Show. Available across the company’s most popular centerfire platforms, the new models combine distinctive styling with enhanced durability.

The Explorer Carbine draws inspiration from the rugged landscapes of the American Southwest, a region defined by sun-scorched earth and canyon stone. Each rifle features a Burnt Bronze Cerakote® finish applied to the lever, receiver, barrel, and outer magazine tube, reflecting those natural tones. This inaugural Burnt Bronze configuration represents the first in a potential series of regionally inspired finishes, each intended to capture the distinctive character and colors of America’s diverse landscapes. In addition to its warm, understated appearance, the Cerakote application provides increased resistance to physical and environmental wear, delivering long-term protection while creating a refined, custom-shop look without the custom-shop price tag. BANISH Adds 20 Gauge and .410 Bore Shotgun Suppressors

BANISH Suppressors, the industry-leader in innovative, hearing-safe firearm suppressors, is proud to announce the release of the BANISH 20 and BANISH 410 shotgun suppressors. Like the innovative BANISH 12, these two new shotgun suppressor designs have interchangeable chokes, adaptive mounts, and a unique profile to ensure they don’t interfere with the sight line, down the barrel.

“When we set out to design a shotgun suppressor, one caveat is that it had to be highly functional,” said Brandon Maddox, BANISH Suppressors founder and CEO. “We did that with the BANISH 12. We expanded upon that idea with the new BANISH 20 and BANISH 410, both of which offer that same level of functionality and hearing protection. These new models bring hearing protection to shooters and hunters covering the whole shotgun spectrum. Plus, they are just a lot of fun to shoot.”

The BANISH 20 weighs 14.7 ounces, and the BANISH 410 weighs just 7.2 ounces. Both are made from titanium using additive manufacturing. The BANISH 20 is perfect for upland hunting and will be a favorite among sub-gauge enthusiasts. The BANISH 410 is a must-have accessory for turkey hunters, or for new shooters at the range. Both are compatible with a wide range of ammunition in their respective chamberings, handling loads from #8 shot up through #2, BB, BBB, 00 Buck, and even slugs. Read more

Davidson’s Exclusive First Edition “Migliore” Series Single-Action from Pietta Firearms

PRESCOTT, Ariz. – The close collaboration of Davidson’s and Pietta Firearms continues to produce fine exclusive firearms that can be passed down for generations.

Introducing the First Edition Migliore Series single-action revolver chambered in .357 Magnum.

During a planning meeting, a Davidson’s board member asked the Pietta brothers “What word in Italian means ‘the best’?” They answered “migliore”. The board member replied, “That’s what we want to make”. Thus, the name and intent of this project was established.

Most efforts to achieve pinnacle-level quality are not successful in one fell swoop. Several meetings, planning sessions, exchanged ideas, and prototypes paved the way for the final product.

Parkwest Arms was recruited to contribute the color case-hardening process on the frame and hammer using the traditional bone and charcoal method. A deep gloss blued finish for the rest of the gun was considered a requirement among all parties. The hand set nitride-blued ejector pin, cylinder release pin, and screws serve as a testament to the meticulous attention to detail and refinement. The Migliore’s one-piece grip is carved from high-grade walnut and the completed look, we believe, speaks for itself.

As the inaugural edition of this prestigious line, this First Edition sets the standard for authenticity and elegance, and each revolver was hand inspected by Alessandro Pietta himself.
