Ruger Introduces New Mark IV 22/45 Lite Optic-Ready with Co-Witness Sights

Sturm, Ruger & Company, Inc. (NYSE: RGR) has expanded the Ruger® Mark IV™ 22/45™ Lite family of rimfire pistols with a new model that features a mounting position for a standard Shield™ RMS footprint reflex optic in place of the Picatinny rail. It also features a raised front fiber optic sight and an adjustable rear sight that co-witness with most micro red dot optics. The new model has an attractive ventilated rib on top of a clear anodized receiver.

Like most Ruger Mark IV 22/45 Lite pistols, the new model combines a lightweight, precision-molded, polymer grip frame with a ported, anodized aluminum receiver for a custom pistol look without the custom price. Chambered for the popular .22 LR cartridge, this pistol is fun to shoot, accurate and reliable. Weighing only 22.5 oz., the 22/45 Lite is the ideal lightweight rimfire pistol. The CNC-machined aluminum receiver houses a 4.4-inch stainless steel barrel, held in place by a tension nut to ensure accuracy and a factory-threaded 1/2″-28 muzzle to accept popular muzzle accessories. The comfortable, precision-molded polymer grip frame incorporates replaceable checkered 1911-style grip panels that allow shooters to customize the look of the pistol. The Mark IV 22/45 Lite is the perfect outdoor companion and can be used for target shooting, plinking, small game hunting or competitive shooting. With one-button takedown, two 10-round magazines, and a 1911-style grip angle, it’s the perfect .22 caliber training pistol. Read more

Springfield Armory Releases 10-Round Hellion 5.56mm Bullpup

GENESEO, ILL. – Springfield Armory® is proud to announce the release of the 10-round Hellion™. This new offering provides those in locales requiring restricted capacities an opportunity to own this short, modular and fully ambidextrous 5.56mm bullpup platform.

Unlike a traditional long gun, the bullpup design of the Hellion locates the action and the magazine behind the trigger and into the buttstock area. By doing this, it reduces the overall length drastically, while still allowing you to have a barrel long enough to retain effective downrange performance.

Based on the internationally proven VHS-2 bullpup, which has been employed by the Croatian armed forces in demanding environments ranging from Iraq to Africa and beyond, the Springfield Armory Hellion offers American shooters a semi-automatic version of this highly capable firearm. Read more

Hi-Point Introduces the Industry’s First 30 Super Carry Carbine

Mansfield, OH: Hi-Point® Firearms, an America-based manufacturer of reliable and affordable pistols and carbine rifles for defense, sporting, and hunting applications, breaks new ground in the shooting industry by introducing the first-ever carbine chambered for the new 30 Super Carry defensive cartridge.

Serious personal and home defense practitioners understand the value of having ammunition compatibility between their handguns and rifles. This has long been the case with 9mm handguns and pistol-caliber carbines (PCC) chambered for the 9mm Luger. Now, Hi-Point extends that same compatibility to Federal’s exciting new 30 Super Carry handgun cartridge with a personal defense carbine chambered for this potent ammunition.

The Hi-Point 995 is the industry’s first rifle to accommodate the 30 Super Carry cartridge. Available in 16.5” barrel length, this all-new Model 995 boasts a semi-auto action with a 10-shot capacity. The carbine features a skeletonized polymer stock and pistol grip with a ribbed polymer forend for lightweight and durable performance. MDT MV3 90 M-LOK Mount

The MV3 90 M-LOK mount allows you to move your MV3 Electronic Level from your scope base to any M-LOK slot.

Some scope rails don’t have room to mount the MV3 level across the top due to the scope ring height. Mounting the level on the forend avoids this issue and provides another option for ideal viewing. The mount orients the level vertically to prevent snagging on barricades.

The MDT LRA MV3 90 MLOK Mount is now available with a starting price of $39.95 USD. Details can be found at https://mdttac.com/mdt-lra-90-m-lok-mount/
