(McLean, VA) FN America, LLC is pleased to announce that the company has been awarded a firm-fixed-price contract to supply the U.S. Army with M240 series machine gun variants and spare receivers. The contract, awarded through 2026, is multi-faceted and will support both the U.S. Army and other Department of Defense (DoD) programs.

Henry and Brownells Join Forces to Recognize Iwo Jima Flag-Raiser

Exclusive Rifles to Fund Harold “Pie” Keller Monument Available On Flag Day

RICE LAKE, WI – On February 23, 1945, Associated Press photographer Joe Rosenthal captured one of the most iconic images in US military history as six Marines hoisted the American flag atop Mount Suribachi during the Battle of Iwo Jima. In October 2019, Harold “Pie” Keller of Brooklyn, Iowa, was identified as one of these Marines, 74 years after Rosenthal took the photograph. With his story almost lost to history, Keller’s hometown is now cementing his legacy with a monument funded in part by American firearms manufacturer Henry Repeating Arms and Iowa-based firearms parts and accessories supplier, Brownells, Inc.

The Brooklyn Community Foundation, a 501(c)(3) organization, is spearheading the memorial construction efforts with $17,000 left to raise to pay for the monument. To assist the foundation, Henry Repeating Arms created a limited-edition series of 100 Golden Boy Pie Keller Memorial Edition rifles (Model #H004PKM). In celebration of Flag Day, the rifles will be available for sale through Brownells’ retail store in Grinnell, IA, and online at Brownells.com starting on Monday, June 14, until supplies last. JOHNSTOWN, PA – The Professional Outdoor Media Association (POMA), in conjunction with the National Shooting Sports Foundation (NSSF), and the Williamson County Sheriff’s Department will hold a press conference on June 14, at the Cool Springs Marriot and Convention Center in Franklin, TN, at 11:00 a.m. CST to promote Project ChildSafe.

A program of the NSSF, Project ChildSafe has distributed more than 38 million firearm safety kits throughout the country since 2003. The program receives support from the firearms industry, federal and state grants, and public donations and is partnering with the Williamson County Sheriff’s Department to provide free firearm safety kits to local residents.

“With the increase in gun owners in the past year and the coming of summer with children being out of school, it is all that more important for us to be vigilant in keeping children safe,” said Thomas MacAulay, executive director of POMA. “Active gun owners should know about this program, and we are trying to do our part to educate the general public about how the majority of gun owners are responsible with their firearms; this program helps us do just that.”
