Shoot-On.com Launches PREPARE • SUSTAIN • DEFEND Series

March, Valparaiso, IN – Shoot-On.com, the premiere source for gear reviews and DIY media content covering the shooting sports, hunting, and archery segments, has launched the first in its PREPARE • SUSTAIN • DEFEND™ series of articles intended to reach out to non- and first-time firearm owners and hunters to help our fellow Americans through the global pandemic.

While the Covid-19 pandemic is impacting all Americans, it is presenting an incalculable opportunity for the shooting and hunting communities and the industries which support 2nd Amendment rights and the outdoor sports. For the first time in generations, those who have held views opposing firearm ownership and hunting are understanding what shooters and hunters have always known — personal and family protection are the individual’s responsibilities, not the state’s, and hunting provides a sustainable and healthy means to feed our families.

Shoot-On.com and its partners are launching the PREPARE • SUSTAIN • DEFEND™ series as an outreach to non-firearm owners, new firearm owners, and non-hunters who are seeking information and assistance with the topics of firearms, hunting, and self-reliance. This is an opportunity to not only help our fellow citizens better deal with this crisis, but also to grow our own ranks by changing the hearts and minds of those who may have historically opposed our culture and our way of life.

Shoot-On asks everyone in the hunting and shooting communities to assist in this effort by sharing this link (the first article in the PREPARE • SUSTAIN • DEFEND™ series) on their social media platforms and requesting that fans and followers do the same on their personal channels. This article was developed to provide welcoming guidance to those considering purchasing a firearm for the first time.

This crisis also presents an opportunity for all shooters and hunters to reach out to non-firearm owning friends and family members with an invitation to discuss guns and hunting, and to offer to introduce them to firearms by taking them to a public range for a demonstration.

Differing world views and personal philosophies aside, this is the moment when we, as dedicated shooters and hunters, can strengthen our ranks while also helping fellow Americans learn to protect and provide for themselves and their families. Someone, somewhere along the way, showed us how. Now we have the chance to give back.
