Sturm, Ruger & Company, Inc. (NYSE: RGR) is excited to introduce the SR1911® “Street Edition” series. This series of five engraved models of the SR1911 pistol celebrates Ruger’s rich manufacturing tradition.

The first of the “Street Edition” series will begin shipping in November and commemorates Ruger’s 75th anniversary. This first pistol will be adorned with the 75th anniversary logo and “75 Station St.,” the address of the Red Barn where Ruger’s iconic manufacturing tradition began.

The remainder of the “Street Edition” SR1911s will begin shipping at the end of 2024. While common design elements connect the series, each pistol represents its own Ruger facility – “1 Lacey Place” in Southport, CT; “411 Sunapee St.” in Newport, NH; “271 Cardwell Rd.” in Mayodan, NC; and “200 Ruger Rd.” in Prescott, AZ. Each member of the series will feature a unique grip color, and the facility street name will be engraved on the top of the slide. Production will be limited to 500 of each model.

The New Original Henry Rifle is a line-for-line reproduction of the first practical repeating rifle patented by Benjamin Tyler Henry in 1860, except using the more modern .44-40 WCF caliber, and the foundation for the unique Stand Up for Heroes edition bearing serial number SUFH2024. The brass receiver engraving proudly displays the Stand Up for Heroes logo on the right side and 19th-century military items, including cannons, sabers, flags, drums, and a bugle, arranged in a patriotic abstract representation of a bald eagle taking flight on the left side. Flourishing scrollwork, stippling, and a scalloped border motif further embellish both sides of the receiver. Skilled artisans chase the engravings by hand to provide vibrant, sharp cuts.
