NSSF®, The Firearm Industry Trade Association, revealed that the FBI’s National Instant Criminal Background Check System (NICS) completed 613,380 background checks related to firearms for the week leading up to, and including, “Black Friday,” one of the busiest shopping days of the year. That figure is down from 2023’s total of 680,671 for the same time period. The 2024 total is a 9.8 percent decrease from the 2023 figure.

DALLAS, Texas — Rost Martin is announcing the release of the RM1C in another popular color variant, OD green. After hearing repeated requests for another color option, Rost Martin is pleased to respond to its customers’ needs by launching the RM1C pistol with an OD green frame.

The RM1C is Rost Martin’s introductory flagship pistol. It is a feature-rich compact striker-fired 9mm, first announced in January last year at SHOT Show 2024. The OD green color variant features the frame in classic olive drab, contrasting with the rugged black slide of the RM1C platform.

Offering thoughtful features with the shooter’s experience in mind, the RM1C combines a smooth five-pound trigger pull with a clean break and a super-short reset.
