It operates on a semi-auto blowback design and includes an integrated recoil buffer system to mitigate recoil impact for improved control during firing. The M&P FPC 5.7 has a 16.25-inch barrel with a ½ x 28 threaded muzzle to accommodate suppressors and an overall length of 30 ? inches.
