Davidson’s Exclusive Distributor for New TANDEMKROSS TKX22 Light Rifle

PRESCOTT, Ariz. – Davidson’s has added TANDEMKROSS to its family of product lines and is proud to be the exclusive distributor for the new TKX22 Light Rifle.

Established in 2012 with a single part sold out of a home office, TANDEMKROSS has since grown to become one of the most recognized names in rimfire around the globe. Their mission is to deliver performance and excellence to make good firearms great! They accomplish this with dedication to high quality products, unparalleled customer service, incredible value, and practical solutions to real problems.

TANDEMKROSS is in New Hampshire and all TANDEMKROSS branded products are proudly made in the USA. With humble beginnings, TANDEMKROSS has grown to offer one of the largest and most elaborate product library for rimfire firearms available.

Initially stocking several accessory SKUs, Davidson’s has also entered into an agreement with TANDEMKROSS to be the exclusive distributor for their first complete rifle, the TKX22 Light Rifle.

Light and Premium

Less than three and a half pounds. That’s the unloaded weight of TANDEMKROSS’s TKX22 Light Rifle. It is the lightest semi-auto .22lr rifle of its type. To call it competition-ready is an understatement.

Performance and reliability are guaranteed as each individual component of this rifle has been field tested for years by the best rimfire competitors. Every rifle is built with TANDEMKROSS’s TKX22 Receiver, Spitfire Lightweight Barrel, M-LOK® fiber optic sights, Manticore LITE Trigger Assembly, KrossFire Bolt, and Spartan charging handle and includes one Assembled DoubleKross Magazine (a double-ended magazine with two independent 10-round compartments).

Thanks to its weight and bright fiber optic sights, the TKX22 is optimized for quick target acquisition and rapid target transitions. The TKX22 also serves as a great suppressor host for backyard plinking or small game hunting with its 1/2″x28 threaded barrel.

A wide range of optics can be mounted via the extended 0 MOA picatinny rail machined directly into the receiver. M-LOK® on the barrel provides additional mounting options for optics, lights, lasers, thermals, and more. Users wishing to set up their TKX22 Light Rifle for more static shooting can also use the M-LOK® on the bottom of Magpul®’s MOE® X-22 stock for bipods, ARCA rails, or more.

With all these plus other features like trigger pull-weight adjustment and compatibility with factory Ruger® 10/22® parts and magazines, the TKX22 Light Rifle truly offers something for everyone.

The TKX22 is offered in four different colors of the X-22 stock: Black, Stealth Grey, OD Green, and FDE. MSRP for each is $1,449.99. Consumers will likely see a better price at their local Davidson’s and Gallery of Guns FFL retailers. Read more

Off Grid Suppressors Scorpius .22LR Suppressor Rated #1 at TBAC Sound Summit

Off Grid Suppressors™ Scorpius™ .22LR suppressor validated as the #1 rated rimfire suppressor at the TBAC Sound Summit

SHEVLIN, MN – In an industry where performance is measured in decibels, Off Grid Suppressors is proving that precision engineering and additive manufacturing are the new frontier of silence. The company’s flagship rimfire solution—the Scorpius .22LR—continues to gain market traction following its definitive #1 rating at the prestigious TBAC Sound Summit.

Earning the title of Thunderbeast Champion, the Scorpius was analytically crowned the quietest .22 rimfire suppressor in a field of elite competitors. This accolade serves as a powerful validation for the Minnesota-based startup, confirming that their radical approach to suppressor architecture delivers world-class acoustic performance that effectively disappears in the field.

“Taking the top spot at the TBAC Sound Summit isn’t just a trophy for the wall—it’s a data-driven confirmation of our engineering philosophy,” said an Off Grid Suppressors spokesperson. “For the Scorpius to be named the quietest rimfire suppressor among the industry’s best proves that our investment in 3D-printed titanium is exactly what the market has been demanding: absolute silence without the weight.”

SK Customs Recreates Al Capone’s Iconic “Sweetheart” Colt 1911 in Limited-Edition Release

SK Guns®, the Nation’s only series-driven, limited-edition manufacturer of custom firearms, is proud to remake the iconic Chicago Mob Boss Al Capone’s “Sweetheart” Colt 1911. Chambered in .45 ACP, this is a limited-edition recreation of only 200 firearms.

The “Sweetheart” 1911 associated with Al Capone is one of the most iconic and romanticized firearms tied to the Prohibition era. This custom Colt 1911 reflects both the personal and symbolic sides of Capone, blending sentiment with the hard-edged reality of organized crime in 1920s America.

The pistol itself follows the classic Government Model design which had already earned a reputation for reliability and stopping power. What elevates this particular firearm beyond a standard sidearm is its connection to Capone’s personal life. The nickname “Sweetheart” is widely believed to be a reference to Mae Capone, his wife, suggesting that even one of the most feared figures of the era carried something that represented loyalty and affection.

“Historically, this 1911 represents more than just Capone himself. It embodies the broader culture of the Prohibition era, where crime figures adopted both extravagance and symbolism in their possessions,” said Simon Khiabani, owner and founder of SK Guns. “Today, Al Capone’s ‘Sweetheart’ 1911 remains a fascinating artifact, merging craftsmanship, history and the mystique of one of America’s most infamous figures.”

The pistol features detailed floral engraving, a hallmark of high-end Colts from the period. These engravings often included scrollwork and personalized inscriptions, transforming the weapon into both a functional tool and a piece of art. Such embellishments were common among wealthy or powerful individuals who wanted their firearms to reflect status and identity.

The gun sights are custom-made to match those of Capone’s Sweetheart Colt 1911 with an adjustable rear sight and a partridge front serrated staked sight. The front strap has been checkered, and a newly designed checkered mainspring housing is installed.

Details on the left side of the gun’s slide showcase the traditional patent roll marks from Colt Manufacturing Company of its era. Additionally, the same floral scroll embellishes the right slide of the slide like the original Capone Sweetheart Colt 1911.

The right side of the gun’s slide features the “Colt Automatic Caliber .45” with Rampart roll marks of its era, along with the Government Model on the dust cover. More floral scrolls continue to embellish, as does the original Capone Sweetheart Colt 1911 with the series number of 001 through 200 on the rear panel.

The frame, slide and hardware are all polished and blued. The grips are made of genuine vintage red deer stag, not all alike, but with similar bark that gives this Sweetheart a true remake. Read more

Henry Repeating Arms Introduces New Bear’s Leg Pistols

Henry Repeating Arms is expanding its lineup of modern lever action firearms with the introduction of the new Bear’s Leg Pistol, a compact, utility-minded platform that blends the unmistakable profile of the classic Mare’s Leg with features tailored to the way today’s firearm owners actually use their guns.

Offered in .357 Magnum, .44 Magnum, .30-30 Winchester, and .45-70 Government, the Bear’s Leg Pistol is purpose-built for versatility, customization, and hard use. Each model features a factory-threaded barrel, a polymer handguard with M-LOK® slots and a Picatinny rail section, fiber optic sights, a large loop lever, and a side loading gate. The result is a lever action pistol platform equally suited for range use, truck carry, property duty, camp utility, and lawful customization where permitted.

“The Bear’s Leg is our take on what a modern lever action pistol can be, cranked up to 11,” said Anthony Imperato, Founder and CEO of Henry Repeating Arms. “It starts with a format people instantly recognize, then we give it some additional firepower, and then we add our popular X Model furniture for user configuration. Whether that means adding accessories, shooting suppressed, or using it as the foundation for something more specialized, the Bear’s Leg is purpose-built for possibility.”

While rooted in one of the most iconic silhouettes of the Old West, the Bear’s Leg was developed with a close eye on the present. Henry engineers drew inspiration from how customers are increasingly configuring their lever action rifles, mounting lights, adding accessories, seeking suppressor compatibility, and adapting traditional platforms to more specialized roles.

The pistol-caliber versions, chambered in .357 Magnum and .44 Magnum, offer approachable recoil, fast follow-up shots, and broad all-around practicality. The .30-30 Win. model brings one of America’s most time-tested hunting and ranch cartridges into a compact new format. For those seeking maximum authority in minimum space, the .45-70 Gov’t version stands as the biggest and boldest expression of the platform.

In addition to its out-of-the-box capability, the Bear’s Leg is also designed to offer a straightforward path to Short-Barreled Rifle (SBR) conversion, where legally permitted and with approved ATF paperwork. Because it already includes a threaded barrel and modern attachment points from the factory, it provides a ready-made foundation for those interested in building a more compact, lever action SBR platform without permanent modification.

The new Henry Bear’s Leg Pistol is available now through federally licensed firearms dealers, carrying an MSRP of $1,129. For more information, visit HenryUSA.com.

HK announces the latest addition to the VP9 line of polymer pistols, the VP9CC micro-compact. It is a no-compromise, fully-featured, micro-compact from our factory in Oberndorf, Germany.

“The best thing about the VP9CC is it is simply a micro-compact VP9, our most successful, best-selling pistol family,” said HK Director of Sales & Business Development Nathan Scheuth. “While the size is new, the design is not. You can trust it to perform like an HK.”

New for 2026, Working Lever Action Essentials: The Chiappa 92 Core

Dayton, OH – The Chiappa 92 Core in the Wildlands series is built around one priority: a lever-action that stays simple, fast, and ready without drifting into range-toy excess. It is intended to be a working rifle that shoulders naturally, cycles smoothly, and carries the features that matter most when the moment is short and conditions are not ideal. Chiappa describes it as focused on “simplicity, instinct, and reliability,” which defines the Core: practical configuration, purposeful features, and a classic platform enhanced with Wildlands refinement.

Each Wildlands rifle brings a unique, practical approach to the lever-gun market. Designed for optimal usability and versatility, Wildlands Lever Action Rifles represent a balanced blend of useful and classic design. With modern additions, each Wildlands rifle addresses needs that traditional aesthetics did not fully accommodate decades, and in some cases centuries, ago. The 92 Core has an angle eject versus top eject action, allowing for an optional picatinny mount for the purpose of adding an optic. The forend of the handsome walnut stock features three integrated M-LOK slots for tastefully mounting modern firearm accessories.

The 92 Core is chambered in .44 MAG and feeds 8+1, pairing a proven lever-action format with a cartridge that remains well suited for woods distances, property use, and close-to-mid-range hunting. Its 16.5-inch (419mm) barrel keeps the rifle compact and responsive. Chiappa threads the muzzle 5/8×24, providing compatibility with modern muzzle devices where legal and practical. Read more

Springfield Armory Announces the Launch of the SA-35 4″ 9mm

GENESEO, ILL. – Springfield Armory® is proud to announce the launch of the SA-35™ 4″ 9mm, offering a unique new addition to this incredibly popular line of semi-automatic pistols.

Based on one of the most prolific and popular pistols in small arms history, the 9mm Springfield Armory® SA-35 gave shooters a modern take on a revered classic. Featuring subtle but significant upgrades to John Moses Browning’s original P-35 design, the SA-35 captured the appeal of the “wood and steel” era of arms making. With this new adaptation of the proven design, shooters have access to a pistol with all the benefits of the original SA-35 pistol, but now with a shorter and more compact barrel.

Like all SA-35 variants, the new 4” SA-35 is made in the United States and features rugged forged steel parts for strength and durability. This includes not only the slide and frame, but also the shorter 4” barrel. The barrel — as with all SA-35 pistols — features an improved feed ramp design for reliable functioning with today’s top defensive ammunition.

Further rounding out the design are the SA-35’s improved ergonomics and controls, such as a recontoured hammer to prevent the risk of “hammer bite” and an extended thumb safety. Additionally, the pistols employ modern sights made up of a white dot front and Tactical Rack black serrated rear sight. And lastly, a flush-fitting 15-round magazine ups capacity over the original design’s 13-round capacity, feeding into the pistol’s beveled magazine well.

The 4” SA-35 features an attractive matte-blue finish on its carbon steel slide and frame, complemented by a pair of checkered walnut grips contoured to enhance the pistol’s ergonomics and handling characteristics. MSRP is $799.

“The SA-35 proved to be an immediate success due to its combination of traditional design and modern enhancements,” said Steve Kramer, Vice President of Marketing for Springfield Armory. “This new 4” SA-35 offers all those same benefits and appeal, but now in a smaller and faster-handling version.”
