The Department of Natural Resources reminds hunters that the application period for antlerless deer licenses ends Aug. 15. Hunters can apply for a quota-limited license online at E-license, at any authorized license agent or at a DNR Customer Service Center. A nonrefundable $4 fee is charged at the time of application. Hunters may only apply for a single public-land or private-land license. Read more
As the buffalo era was ending, Sharps refined their renowned rifle to create the rare 1877 Model. It was often referred to as the “English Model” not just due to its refined styling but for it’s high quality English-made barrels. This would be their last side-hammer model. Remington Arms Company, LLC (“Remington”) broke ground Thursday on the expansion of its operations at the Remington Ammunition Plant in Lonoke, Arkansas.
