Whenever sportscasters spew off statistics about certain team rivalries and how two teams have stacked up over the years, it makes me think they don’t have anything better to talk about. It all means nothing, because the current teams have evolved through coaching and personnel changes – any one of which alters the team’s personality, potential, and character. Michigan Man Gets Caught Cheating; Loses Trophy Buck

Jeff Kerr, hunting in Lapeer County, Michigan couldn’t miss on the trophy buck of a lifetime.  And at 10 steps, he didn’t.  Life has got complicated for the short-term hero now that everyone – including the law – knows he bought his license after the fact.  Click here for the story and photo of the big buck he lost on a “technicality.”  From hero to zero as quick as you can say busted.

New Book for the Hunters on Your Shopping List

Since the Boone and Crockett Club published its first records book in 1932, it has received an increasing number of photos from hunters with trophy entries. In the 1930s only about 15 percent or less of trophy entries were accompanied by photos, likely due to the fact that cameras were bigger, more cumbersome and difficult to operate back then. Photos for
trophies taken prior to this are even scarcer. (The names, places, and animals are an incredible step back in time.)
