Israeli Magazine Factory Running Round-the-Clock to Provide AR-15 Mags to the US

FARMINGDALE, New York – Fears about future changes to US firearms laws have consumers scrambling to purchase popular semi-auto sporting rifles and standard-capacity magazines for those rifles.  With almost all magazines out of stock at retailers in the US, and prices often reaching 1,000 percent above standard retail pricing, an Israeli manufacturer has increased production to help mitigate the magazine shortage.
The E-Lander factory has transitioned to round-the-clock shifts to maximize AR-15 magazine production, shipping pallets of magazines to the US importer, The Mako Group, several times each week. Read more

The Dirty Dozen

Courtesy of the U.S. Sportsmen’s Alliance (www.ussportsmen.org)

There are groups that undermine and manipulate systems across America to end hunting, trapping and fishing. These same “less-than-honest” groups also often then exploit wildlife and conservation issues in the name of raising dollars for their devious causes. Here are a dozen organizations that have taken efforts in the past year to prevent you from hunting or trapping: Read more

The Writing’s on the Wall for HSUS

This from the Center for Consumer Freedom…

Two developments have recently emerged that could be body-blows to the Humane Society of the United States and its deceptive practices of raising money from pet loving Americans who are deceived into giving to the group.

First, news broke this morning that the ASPCA has agreed to pay Feld Entertainment, owner of the Ringling Bros. Circus, nearly $10 million as part of a settlement in a federal racketeering lawsuit. Feld will continue its litigation against other defendants, including HSUS and two of its attorneys. HSUS could be on the hook for millions upon millions in damages. And for anyone who may have been thinking this lawsuit didn’t have merit, the fact that ASPCA was worried enough to shell out almost $10 million just to make it go away should make them think again. Armed School Security Is Already in Effect

When the NRA called for armed security in schools, opponents called him crazy.  But, when Bill Clinton enacted such a program called Cops in Schools, he was brilliant.  And, the failed Clinton gun ban of 1994 was permitted to sunset, because it was a miserable failure and had no effect on crime, but now it will work because liberals love the notion.  California Senator Barbara Boxer wants armed National Guardsmen in schools, but no one hears a peep about her mental health.  In addition, we have some 23,000 schools with armed guards right now, but who is talking to them?

So, we see that as long as the liberals want a discussion on the issue of safety for school children, the talks can go on – as long as the ideas are their own.

A sensible approach from NRA’s David Keene is here…

Better Deer Hunting? You Bet!

By Glen Wunderlich

Congratulations are in order for Michigan’s deer hunters in the northwest Lower Peninsula for a vote to strengthen the declining, unbalanced whitetail deer herd.  By an overwhelming majority, deer hunters in the 12-county area, which includes Charlevoix, Emmet, Antrim, Benzie, Grand Traverse, Kalkaska, Lake, Manistee, Missaukee, Mason, Osceola and Wexford counties, have approved antler-point restrictions (APR).  Next on the agenda is for the Natural Resources Commission to address the approval of the issue at its spring meeting.
