Steve West, of Steve’s Outdoor Adventures TV, reported to the staff of CVA that he has taken what should be a new muzzleloader world record grizzly bear with his CVA Accura V2 muzzleloading rifle. Steve shot the bear in British Columbia on June 1st, but just reached civilization on June 9th where he was able to report the kill via an email. Read more
From Great Falls, Montana — A grizzly bear has been trapped and is suspected of killing steers on a Blackfeet Indian Reservation. Since this particular 472-pound bear has no criminal history, it’s getting a second chance – away from domestic animals. More here…
Orphaned grizzly bear cubs, rescued from Alaska, will make their debut at the Detroit Zoo. A anti-hunting poacher killed their mother and the cubs were not expected to survive the harsh Alaskan winter.
