MDT has expanded XRS chassis compatibility to the Ruger American right-hand long action. The XRS gives Ruger American owners the fit and feel of a traditional rifle stock with the adjustability and bedding of a modern precision chassis.
The XRS for the Ruger American long action (3.715″) uses V-block bedding in an aluminum inlet block with a free-floating barrel channel. Length of pull adjusts from 13.2 to 14.2 inches with buttstock spacers, and the cheek riser adjusts from 0 to 1.66 inches. The chassis accepts AICS-pattern magazines and supports interchangeable vertical and angled grips.
The M-LOK forend measures 13.4 inches from the recoil lug face and includes an integrated barricade stop for positional shooting. The XRS accepts the XRS enclosed forend, XRS forend weight, and buttstock spacer weight, so shooters can tune balance for target work or keep the rifle light for the field.
The XRS suits shooters who want a traditional stock profile without giving up adjustability, whether the rifle is built for steel, paper, or hunting.
