The interlace motif features continuous lines without a beginning or end dating whose tradition dates back to medieval times used as decoration in illustration, art and metalwork. The Celtic Scroll II is an additional design motif in the Celtic tradition and features a nitride finish highlighting the intricate details.

Working with Master Italian engravers from Incisioni B&B, the new Celtic Scroll II is a modern interpretation of an ancient design motif. Master engraver Diego Bonsi beautifully executes the pattern with his creation of this intricate, full coverage scroll engraving.

NSSF and USA Mentor Reward Program Reaches 1,000 Novice Hunters and Shooters

Spring Hill, Tenn. — In late January, the Union Sportsmen’s Alliance (USA) and the National Shooting Sports Foundation (NSSF) wrapped up their 2020 Mentoring Rewarded campaign upon recruiting union members to mentor 1,000 newcomers in hunting, target shooting, or firearms safety.

Through its Hunting Heritage Trust, NSSF awarded the USA a $20,000 grant to implement the recruitment campaign, backed by NSSF’s +ONE Movement messaging, which motivated labor union members to share their knowledge and passion for those activities with someone new.

“As an outdoorsman, I feel it’s our responsibility to mentor a young society in a tough world,” said Gerald Simpson, a member of the USA and International Union of Operating Engineers (IUOE) Local 147, who has been mentoring youth on their first deer and turkey hunts for more than 20 years. “We need to support this tradition to keep it going in the future. Plus, I get a real feeling of satisfaction from being there for all the excitement, joy, and tears that are part of a first hunt.” Read more

Bond Arms Rough SeriesDouble-Barrel Handguns

Grandbury, TX – Bond Arms is known for its outstanding fit and finish on every gun they build. To create a more affordable option for budget-conscious customers without compromising features, Bond Arms trimmed down its finishing process. The Rough Series was born and included the Roughneck, Rowdy, and the newest addition, the Grizzly double-barrel guns. The result is a handgun with the same outstanding qualities inherent in every Bond Arms’ gun without all the frills.

Each Rough Series gun undergoes a quick clean-up and deburring to knock off the sharp edges. After the initial treatment, guns are bead blasted, giving them a rough finish. The parting lines in the metal frame and trigger guard add to the cool factor. Swirly tool marks on the barrels and tiny casting imperfections and rough areas add a unique individual character to these handguns. Built-in a fraction of the time compared to standard production models, the reduced labor cost of the Rough Series guns translates into huge savings for the customer. Read more

Springfield Armory Hellcat RDP 9mm

GENESEO, ILL. – Springfield Armory® is proud to introduce an exciting new variant of its wildly popular micro 9mm Hellcat® — the Hellcat RDP™ (Rapid Defense Package). The RDP is replete with features that make this high-capacity, ultra-compact pistol even more versatile.

The new Hellcat RDP builds on the success and popularity of the original Hellcat OSP™ micro 9mm with the addition of a 3.8″ threaded barrel and an included Self Indexing Compensator. Compact and capable, the compensator vents gas from the barrel to significantly reduce muzzle rise and felt recoil. Made of lightweight 8082 aluminum, the compensator features a patented self-indexing mounting system that ensures the port is correctly oriented every time. That means it’s a breeze to install or remove with no need for shims or tools.

“The Hellcat reshaped the way people viewed what a CCW pistol can be. Now, the Hellcat RDP is taking the performance of this highly capable pistol to the next level,” says Steve Kramer, Vice President of Marketing for Springfield Armory.

Also debuting today is HEX™ optics by Springfield Armory. Direct-mounted on the slide of the Hellcat RDP is the all-new HEX Wasp™ red dot, utilizing the Springfield Micro™ footprint made popular by the Hellcat OSP. The ruggedly built, IPX7 waterproof-rated Wasp features an aluminum body and an anti-glare-coated glass lens, and its low-mount design means it can co-witness with the handgun’s fixed tritium/luminescent front sight and Tactical Rack U-Notch rear sight.
