Michael Moore Talks Gun Control

Michael Moore doesn’t want to stay in this country unless more gun control is instituted.  What he fails to realize (or, at least address) is the notion that gun control – specifically, gun-free zones – causes these mass shootings, along with perverted minds.  In any case, below is his call for more gun laws and restrictions.

Michigan Conservation group to host Fall Tune-Up Shoot in Fenton

The Keith Davis Chapter of the Ruffed Grouse Society will hold its 8th annual Fall Tune-Up Shoot at the Fenton Lake Sportsmen’s Club, 1140 Butcher Road, Fenton, MI on Saturday, August 25, 2012 beginning with registration at 9 a.m. (Shoot starts at 9:30 a.m.).
According to Brad DePottey, registration for the 50 target sporting clays shoot is $30 for adults and $25 for youngster’s age12-16. Registration fee includes lunch and award for Adult High Gun. Walk-in’s are welcome.

DNR’s Ortonville shooting range to close temporarily for upgrades

The Department of Natural Resources today announced that its Ortonville shooting range in Lapeer County will temporarily close starting Aug. 2. The closure is for the construction of two new ranges at 200 and 10 yards, giving visitors the opportunity to shoot at short and long distances, and installation of new accessible shooting stations and pathways at 10, 25, 50, 100 and 200 yards. Mayor Bloomberg Should Go On Strike
