Coast Guard Foundation Launches Fund Drive to Support Coast Guard Members Affected by Hurricane Sandy

Stonington, Conn. – The Coast Guard Foundation, a non-profit organization committed to the education, welfare and morale of all Coast Guard members and their families, is launching a fundraising campaign to support Coast Guard members and their families who were affected by Hurricane Sandy. Working closely with the Coast Guard, the Coast Guard Foundation will distribute funds to Coast Guard members who are stationed in the affected areas of Maryland, New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Pennsylvania and Delaware. Predators who select victims based on the expected inability to resist, often desist when even a small number of the expected easy marks give them trouble.
