Watchman Rifle Headlines LE Division at RISE Armament

The Watchman rifle is a duty-ready workhorse

Broken Arrow, Oklahoma – December 13, 2018 — RISE Armament, a premier manufacturer and supplier of AR firearms and components is pleased to introduce the all-new WatchmanTM rifle. This firearm is set to be the headliner of RISE Armament’s new Law Enforcement (LE) Division — RISE LE.

Motivated by the July 7, 2016, Dallas police ambush, RISE Armament set out to ensure that no police officer is ever outgunned by a criminal. RISE made it their mission to develop a supremely accurate, highly dependable rifle that’s affordable on a law enforcement budget. The Watchman is that rifle.

“It’s important to us for officers to be equipped with high-quality, high-performance rifles that are affordable,” said Matt Torres, president of RISE Armament. “They’re putting their lives on the line for us every day, and it’s our duty to use our talents as engineers and machinists to give them the best products possible.”

RISE Armament developed the Watchman with input from SWAT/SOT/SRT officers, patrol officers, military snipers, competitive shooters, and firearms instructors to ensure it combined the best in functionality, accuracy, dependability, and affordability. From a squad car to an entry team, it’s duty ready right out of the box.

The Watchman is available in two models — the 223LE, which is chambered in .223 Wylde, which is highly accurate with both .223 and 5.56 ammunition, or the 300LE in 300 Blackout.

RISE developed an advanced flash hider specifically for the Watchman, which ensures flash minimization in low-light environments to avoid affecting the user’s night vision capabilities, yet it minimizes the ring that is common with that type of flash hider. The Watchman is a feature-rich firearm that is ready to meet all the demands of law enforcement members. Read more

Umarex Gauntlet Available in .25 Caliber

FORT SMITH, AR – Umarex USA Inc. announces a major addition to their Gauntlet line of Pre-Charged Pneumatic (PCP) air rifles: the .25 caliber Gauntlet. The Gauntlet offers the larger .25 caliber for the same market driving MSRP of just $299.99.

The .25 caliber Umarex Gauntlet provides up to 27 consistent, powerful shots from one fill of its high capacity 13-cubic inch regulated tank. The 1,900 psi built-in regulator delivers consistent velocity from shot-to-shot for long, flat shot strings. This translates directly into outstanding accuracy for a successful day of small to mid-game hunting or serious target shooting.

With up to 27 consistent shots at 895 feet per second with a 25 grain pellet, the .25 caliber Gauntlet is clearly unmatched when combined with its inherent accuracy, flexible features and 45 foot pounds of generated energy. Shooters can have confidence in the energy transfer into its target without variations in velocity due to changing tank pressure—the “shot curve” characteristic of unregulated PCP air rifles. As long as the built-in pressure gauge remains above 1,900 psi, the regulated Gauntlet generates rock-steady velocity and terminal energy. Read more
