The New Holosun HE507K-GR X2 with Green Reticle

City of Industry, Ca. –Holosun is releasing several new models with their Super Green LED including the 507K series. Green reticles have some advantages of being an ultra-high contrast color in both daytime and low-light use. The brilliant green reticle of the HE507K-GR X2 enables the shooter to obtain a sight picture instantly against almost any backdrop or lighting conditions.

HE507K-GR X2 is an open reflex pistol optic designed primarily for concealed applications. The HE507K has become the go-to optic for concealed carriers and professional users on backup firearms. The HE507K features HOLOSUN’s Multi-reticle System (MRS) which gives the user an option to use the 32MOA/2MOA Circle-Dot reticle, Circle only, or Dot only. HOLOSUN Expands Green LED Pistol Optic Line

Blackhawk Introduces Streamlight TLR-7A Flex and TLR1-HL Weapon Lights

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. –– Blackhawk®, a leader in law enforcement and military equipment for over 20 years, has partnered with Streamlight® to deliver two tactical weapon lights, the TLR1-HL® and TLR-7A Flex®. Already popular among shooters, both Streamlight models are designed to fit several Blackhawk holsters, most notably the Blackhawk T-Series. In addition, the TLR1-HL is compatible with the Blackhawk Omnivore holster.

With 1,000 lumens and a 928-foot beam at the ready, the TLR1-HL is designed to provide maximum visibility when illuminating a room, alley or other wide space. Meanwhile, the TLR-7A features 500 lumens and a 459-foot beam, but also comes with an ergonomic, ambidextrous on/off switch that can be customized for either a low or high position to match a user’s grip style.

Both lights feature a rail clamp system that securely attaches the light without tools and without a user needing to put their hands in front of the muzzle. Bushnell Releases New Prime 1800 Laser Rangefinder

Bushnell Unveils New Fusion X Rangefinding Binoculars

Five Charged in Russian Import Scheme

A federal grand jury in Los Angeles unsealed an indictment Thursday that accuses five defendants of conspiring to unlawfully export defense articles to Russia. Specifically, the defendants allegedly exported thermal imaging riflescopes and night-vision goggles without a license, in violation of the Arms Export Control Act.

According to court documents, Elena Shifrin, 59, of Mundelein, Illinois, and Vladimir Pridacha, 55, of Volo, Illinois, were arrested June 17 for their roles in a nearly four-year scheme in which the defendants purchased dozens of thermal imaging devices, most of which cost between $5,000 and $10,000 and are controlled by the International Traffic in Arms Regulations, from sellers across the United States. The other three defendants named in the indictment are: Boris Polosin, 45, of Russia; Vladimir Gohman, 52, of Israel; and Igor Panchernikov, 39, an Israeli national who, during much of the scheme, resided in Corona, California.

As outlined in the indictment, the defendants allegedly obtained many of the items using aliases, falsely assuring the sellers that they would not export the items from the United States. The thermal imaging devices were then exported to co-conspirators in Russia using aliases and false addresses to conceal their activities.

As alleged, the defendants hid the thermal imaging devices among other non-export-controlled items when exporting them to Russia, and they falsely stated on export declarations that the contents of their exports were non-export-controlled items with values of less than $2,500. In no case did any of the defendants obtain the required export licenses to export defense articles to Russia. Read more
